Welcome to Halcyon! Halcyon is a fantasy themed freeform rpg that takes place on a vast waterworld with five main islands. All roleplaying is done on a simple message board that encourages the player to dive in and write. This rpg is rated probably 13+. Players are given a variety of situations to play out and encouraged to use their imagination and improve their writing while having fun and meeting new people!

Held together by fragile strands of peace for centuries, Halcyon finally succumbed to war and internal strife when a malevolent entity threatened their very existence. Old grudges and irreconciliable differences erupted between the relatively isolated islands, despite the fact that, alone, they could not hope to win against the NS Alliance, the unseen force that is slowly decimating the islands, one by one.

Where do you stand? Are you a student at Aegis Academy, torn between your need to go and save your island or stay and save the world? Perhaps you're a member of a rebel faction at Mystral, plotting how to overthrow the Alliance and save your skybound home from plunging to destruction? Then again, you could be just a simple dancer in Rubria, realizing your destiny is more than just fun and games and struggling to break free of your fantasy world shell.
