Basic Metabolic Type Test

The following test will give you a general idea of your metabolic type. It is important to reiterate that this is a very condensed version of the sophisticated and expansive clinical test that was designed by William Wolcott over a period of 30 years.

Metabolic type exists on a spectrum; while the comprehensive clinical test is far more accurate and personalized, this abbreviated version still provides a reasonable point to launch your deeper understanding of your type and fine-tuning your diet from.

For the following general test, simply answer the questions as honestly as you can, choosing the number that best represents your answer on the scale provided for each question. There are no right or wrong answers, and if you aren’t completely certain about any given question it is perfectly acceptable to provide what you believe the best answer might be.
